When a newborn child is born into the world the parents assume that the newborn is pure and innocent. The parents are filled with joy at the newborn's arrival. How pure and innocent the child appear to our natural mind. However looks are deceiving as in such cases. David, the Psalmist realized this truth, that although the newborn child appear to be pure and innocent, the truth is, the child is not! The bible paints an entirely different picture, in that, the child is born a sinner, spiritually dead on arrival with the fallen nature of Adam! The bible declare, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" When looking in the natural realm, it will appear that humans were "born to die!" When looking in the spiritual realm one finds that death was not God's plan for humans. Had Adam and Eve taken of the tree of life, which was also in the midst of the garden of Eden they would have lived without ever dying: the tree of life was one of the trees in the garden that God did not forbid them to eat of. It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, that was forbidden. Immediately, upon eating of the forbidden fruit, sin entered the spirit of their minds, corrupting the image of God in them, their minds became twisted, hostile towards God: death is the penalty for sin! It is why humans die, yes, even the newborn child is born with an automatic death sentence as a descendant of Adam! This is why David declared, "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm-51:5)! David realized that he was "fearfully and wonderfully made," yet he acknowledged his sinful nature from the moment of conception! In eternity past, God predestined the lives of all humans in general, who have been born into this world, even prior to their conception. God said of Rebecca's twins (Jacob and Esau) before either had been born or had did neither good or evil, that the elder child would serve the younger for he said, "Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." This was so that the predestined will of God's purpose according to God's choice would stand! What God predestined in eternity past God created in time: and in "time," the hands of divine providence, executes exactly, what God predestined in eternity past, prior to creation! Everything that God created serves God's purpose, be it evil (Pharaoh) or be it good (Moses)! God is in control of his entire creation, and direct the thing created to its end for which the thing was created, not a bird fall from the sky without his knowledge! God according to the bible have predestined some to eternal salvation, yet others, to eternal damnation, as all men have not faith! This book, inspired of God will open your eyes to the truth of God's word, and will help you understand God's predestined will, and divine providence! Until these two significant doctrines (teachings) are comprehended, you will never comprehend God! Scripture declare, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die:" yet in another place the question is asked, "Why die before your time?" These verses deal with predestination, and divine providence. This book, will help you really come to see, and to know God Almighty in a way that you never have before, and will draw you closer to him! As the newborn child on the cover of this book, is born into the world (into time) the child, like you and I isn't here (in time) to stay! God, have brought us from eternity past, placed us into time, taking us back into eternity by means of death; different ways but identical results, in that, by some means, we die! We have from the time of birth, to adulthood, to death in which one must be "reconciled to God" through Christ, by God's Spirit in us, that we put to death, the sinful nature of Adam, becoming partakers of God's divine nature! Jesus said it this way,"Ye must be born again!"
THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY IN MODERN AMERICAIs a 20 – 8x11 page book, Illustrated by the Green Bay Tree. It is a chronological narrative of the expansion of iniquity (lawlessness) in America since the mid portion of the 1800s until 2015. THE MYSTERY OF INIQUITY IN MODERN AMERICA is a step by step disclosure of real historical events that were in their time spawned by the disobedient and unbelieving hearts of our people as they compromised the standards of the Christian faith to accept modern humanistic thought patterns and practices. The result of this has been the backsliding of this nation away from the more pure faith that its father’s held to, to the acceptance of a watered down form of Christianity which in many ways is found to be confused and lawless in nature, and consequently full of vices. Which has also allowed for, and even promoted a very liberal (Sinful, or Lawless) generation in America. In all reality, sad to day, it is a very sad commentary.

And can Victor's Order survive any of them?
I gasp as my body curls toward Brennus like a flower to the sun, for the pleasure of it. He holds me close to him. His nose grazes the length of my neck. He breathes me in. I feel the roar and rush of my heartbeat. I’m his toy; his energy streams into me. He winds the invisible key in my back and the euphoria ratchets and coils inside of me: tick...tick...tick... Another wicked surge of energy flows from him into me. Pain. Pleasure. Bliss. My jaw unclenches as my lips part. I make a small, breathy sound as we dance. Brennus responds with something close to a growl. “Ye’re killing me, mo chroí,” he murmurs. His hand moves down my back infusing me with a golden glow of power. My wings punch violently from me, tearing a hole in my day dress. They spread wide, like a red stain beyond my pale skin. I’m dancing now for the thrill of it. I follow his lead. As the song comes to an end, Brennus kisses my throat. He whispers in my ear, “When ye get back, come find me, mo chroí. I’ve healed ye...now wake up and banjax whoever banished ye here...”
This is a cookbook for gluten-free anarchists. No, no it isn't. This is the story of a wise old fisherman on his last trip out to sea. Not that either. This is a long Russian epic novel with over 3 dozen principal characters spanning 4 generations. Wrong again. This is a meta-fiction murder mystery novel firmly set in the “literary” genre. Wait WTF does that mean? OK let me try again. This is the story of a young man who finds his raison d'être and lives his life to its deathly conclusion. Is there something in your life you would kill for? Do you have murderous passion for anything? The star of this book is named Montag and he is a graduate student of literature whose reality is shaped by his readings and whose actions are motivated by his desire to protect and defend la literatura. That sounds terrible… well it sounds kinda good to me, but perhaps it’s not quite pithy enough. Okay last try: This is a story of a guy who loves books. He loves books so much that he starts killing. In his mind, the killings seem justified and righteous.
In his writing, Borges always combined high seriousness with a wicked sense of fun. Here he reveals his delight in re-creating (or making up) colorful stories from the Orient, the Islamic world, and the Wild West, as well as his horrified fascination with knife fights, political and personal betrayal, and bloodthirsty revenge. Sparkling with the sheer exuberant pleasure of story-telling, this collection marked the emergence of an utterly distinctive literary voice. For more than seventy years, Penguin has been the leading publisher of classic literature in the English-speaking world. The Web of Iniquity is a study of detective fiction written by American women between the Civil War and World War II. Refuting the idea that no American detective fiction of substance was produced between the times of Edgar Allan Poe and Dashiell Hammett, Catherine Ross Nickerson shows how these women writers blended Gothic elements into domestic fiction to create a unique and all-but-ignored subgenre that she labels “domestic detective fiction.” This subgenre allowed women writers to participate in postbellum culture and to critique other aspects of a rapidly changing society. Domestic detective fiction combined elements of sensationalist papers, popular nonfiction crime stories, and the domestic novel. Nickerson shows how it also incorporated the gothic tropes found in the work of Harriet Beecher Stowe, Louisa May Alcott, and Charlotte Brontë and influenced the work of Pauline Hopkins. Mid-nineteenth-century writer Metta Fuller Victor, who represented such important areas of cultural conflict as the role of professions in the formation of class identity and the possibility of women's independence and self-determination, paved the way for the appearance of women detectives in the late-nineteenth-century fiction of Anna Katharine Green. Nickerson credits Mary Roberts Rinehart, in particular, for bringing sophistication to the subgenre by amplifying the humorous, terrifying, and feminist elements inherent in earlier detective novels by women. Throughout the volume, Nickerson focuses on the narrative qualities of the domestic novel tradition and the ways in which it reflected ideologies of domesticity and gender. Also included are a discussion of various rewritings of the Lizzie Borden scandal in this tradition and an afterword on the relation of domestic detective fiction to the hard-boiled style. The Web of Iniquity places the detective fiction written by women between 1850 and 1940 into ongoing discussions regarding women, culture, and literature and will appeal to scholars and students of women's studies, American studies, and literary history.
This book is the first to consider the work of Herman Melville's later years as a whole, in the light of his life and reading during those years and of the intellectual and artistic ambience of the later nineteenth century. With the exception of Billy Budd, almost all of the writing Melville produced between 1857 and 1891 is poetry. Until now little attention has been given to the poetry and it has been customary to view Melville's final masterpiece, Billy Budd, against the background of the earlier fiction―almost as if the writing of the intervening thirty-four years had not existed.William H. Shurr, who has studied the poems with close attention to the Melville manuscripts in the Houghton Library at Harvard University, contends that Melville's poetry merits more attention and appreciation than has hitherto been accorded it. Concerned principally with the maturation of Melville's darker themes, he has been the first to study the carefully designed sequences in which Melville published his poems. He has also discovered in the poems thematic patterns―among them Melville's heterodox Christology and his concept of a particular kind of individualism found in what he calls the "transcendent act"―that shed new light on the complexities of Billy Budd.
Satan's long war with God will play out in our lifetime. Just as God shook the Earth in the days of Noah, he will shake it again. But not just the Earth. This time God will shake the heaven's as well.
Following the hapless Hampton Court Conference, little groups of English Christians ("Separatists") began to break away from the established church. As early as 1606, one group, led by John Smyth, migrated to Holland. Prominent among them was Thomas Helwys. In 1611/1612, Helwys and others returned home where they founded at Spitalfield the first General Baptist congregation in England. Helwys had with him a manuscript entitled "A Short Declaration of the Mystery of Iniquity" in which he proposed the notion of liberty of conscience, freedom of religion. This may have been the first such declaration in English. Helwys published the manuscript in 1612. That publication probably cost him his freedom, perhaps even his life. By the beginning of the twentieth century, only four known copies of the book survived. Now, thanks to the careful work of Richard Groves, Helwys's "The Mystery of Iniquity" is available in a reader-friendly edition. Groves's introduction sets the document in context, not only as an important and influential historical event but as shedding yet more light on whence we have come. Students, historians, Christians, Protestants, Baptists - all for whom freedom of conscience is important will welcome this reissue in modern dress of a religious liberty classic.
