Writer's Digest Self-Published eBook Awards 2016-WINNER Reader's Favorite Book Awards 2016-Bronze medal Supernatural Hero and the Zombies by Eran Gadot is a fun preteen book, book 3 in a series. We meet Andy again as he is getting ready to spend his summer with Zoe. Andy's 'to do' list involves things like going to the beach with Zoe, spending time with Zoe, and basically being with Zoe. This plan could go really well if zombies were not such a big problem. Andy can also talk to ghosts and his grandpa's ghost takes center stage. Dealing with his grandpa's death, Andy begins seeing his ghost. I found this to be an interesting way of introducing preteens to death, and also the message that those we love never truly leave, even though they do not stay around us as ghosts. Supernatural Hero and the Zombies by Eran Gadot is a fantastic preteen book. Dealing with a lot of themes from love and death to school and bullies, this is a well rounded book. As a adult, I decided to give this book a try because it sounded interesting and I was not disappointed. Andy deals with problems that most preteens would deal with, and I was able to relate in some ways to him. I enjoyed the pacing of the story and the humor within. The art work throughout is amazing. I found myself staring at the illustrations. I loved the way the pictures were pencil drawings and that added so much to the story. I feel that adults, teens, and preteens will be able to enjoy this series. Reviewed by Siobhan Quinlan for Readers' Favorite (5 Stars)

Readers' Favorite: Book Reviews and Award Contest /Mamta Madhavan 5/5 review!"Supernatural Hero (Action & Adventure) (Comics & Graphic Novels) by Eran Gadot is a story that children can relate to easily. Andy is the typical nerd you will come across in your class. He is in grade six, skinny, wears glasses, and then falls in love with Zoe, the prettiest girl in his class. The twist in the story happens when Andy's grandfather dies and turns into a ghost. Now Andy has the power of seeing ghosts and communicating with them. He decides to use that power to the fullest. The paranormal activities make Andy a supernatural hero and the book is about the transformation of nerd Andy into a supernatural hero. It is a very entertaining theme where one can relate to Andy and his nerdy behavior, which sees him being the butt of many jokes in class. The transformation of this nerdy boy is done very well and the change is fluid. It is the type of story that kids will find fascinating. The black and white sketches are beautiful and they give an individuality to the characters and the scenes. The manner in which Andy handles the situations in his life is noteworthy. The theme covers everything that is part of a child's life: parents, school, friends, bullies, pretty girl, and much more. It is an entertaining read with a relatable character and exciting adventures that make it a fast paced story. Now from the nerd that he was, will this supernatural hero get the girl?"

It is a delight to read and one of the best I have read. It has intrigue and mystery, powers and romance, and the bonds of true friendship. The characters are so well defined and perfect for this story. I love Skye and Zoey, they are ideal best friends and I love the simple trust they share. The details are tremendous and made me feel like I was right there. This would be a wonderful movie. It is written with a smooth and creative flow and very easy to stay with. I love this author, Vanessa Diaz, what a vivid and amazing imagination and a real gift for writing. I want more. I definitely recommend this book to everyone. It is a blast to read." 5/5 Stars Paige Turner"High school with super powers. What could go wrong? That's the premise of this book, but it's also much more. There is drama and action and a finely crafted world. I loved Skye's spunk and her power set or controlling the four elements, which also makes her the most desirable person by the forces of darkness and light. The characters were great, with lots of humor thrown in. This story brings to mind x-men, harry potter, and twilight all meshed together. Fully of hot guys, awesome powers and a sinister villain, this ranks as one of my top favorite books. Great read!" 5/5 Stars Jamie"Fellow gifted teenager Zoey Starks and they find themselves quickly discovering new truths about their powers and the world around them. There's much more than science and English to be learnt at Hero High." 5/5 Stars Sam G".... The novel is a highly fun, interactive young adult novel that mixes an engaging plot with high enjoyable characters to create an experience that both is an easy read to get involved in as well as a pleasureful novel....Hero High is a great novel that tells an engaging story centered on a highly engaging main character Skye. Hero High is essentially a newer hipper adaption of X-Men or Sky High." 5/5 Stars Paris Carter
